Google has started new service for shortening url.Though they have started this service on last september,but they have made it more strong and spam proof.Now you can get this service from goo.gl
It is yet another shortening url service,but I think it can give you something more.You can see the statistic of any url of your choice.Who and from where it was click, Google can tell you.
